Woodcarving by Kenneth Kelly

Walking Sticks
I've carved more than a thousand walking sticks. I use young, green aspen from Colorado. Aspen is a sturdy but very lightweight wood. The length can be customized for your height, and I use the thinner sticks for women's orders. Every one is unique, according to what I see in the wood on any given day.
Cowboys & Characters
I love to carve cowboys and other characters in different scenes. I've made everything from a pair of square dancers to baseball players.
Wildlife & Animals
I've carved dozens of bobwhite quails over the years. I also make hummingbirds, ducks, horses, dogs and other animals. Some are stand-alone, and some include flowers and a few blades of grass.
